Starting his race career at the age of 9, Sam quickly found his feet in the world of Karting winning 5 championships over 4 years, one of which being a British championship at the age of 14. After concentrating on his education and career in the automotive industry, Sam went on to university in Swansea where he represented the university in the National Karting championship notching up several wins and podiums.

After university Sam soon moved from karts to cars and had quick success in single seaters as well as saloons. Last year competing in the BARC Mini championship Sam just missed out on the championship title after dropped scores, having 3 wins, 5 seconds, 1 third and 2 pole positions to his name.

Sam moved on to the National Lotus Elise Championship where he impressed in a one off round at the end of 2016. His aim over the 2017/2018 championships is to go on and secure the championship and look towards a British GT drive.
